That's right people another music done and out to you! I gotta say a big thanks to a really kick ass crew here! We shot in the highest population density area of the world! An area like no other...the Mongkok district of Kowloon, Hong Kong!

Here are a further selection of shots from the short film by Irish director Seamus Walsh. This crew didn't take any prisoners! Director of photography Henry Chung took full advantage of the RED cam's amazing capabilities to really showcase the amazing stunts and carnage designed by stunt coordinator Jude Poyer. The entire crew hit the ground running on and battled through a week of 18 hour days to chop the shot list down to size and make it happen! With yours truly at the production design controls and Billy Lau playing bad cop as first assistant director... we kicked some serious ass!!

Here are some production stills of a very talented actor and stuntman who I had the pleasure to work with on Somebody To Love. Actor Philip Ng is not only an amazingly agile and explosive martial artist he's also a genuinely down to earth and nice guy. He spent just as much time hanging out with the crew and laughing it up as he did in front of the camera making sure the character he played came to life. Brilliant.

He put to good use one of my prop break-away bottle on Monkey's head... it took two takes to get the desired effect... but Monkey was game and Philip seemed to enjoy hitting people in the head with bottles!

I was the production designer as well playing the role of 'death incarnate'.

After shooting for 24 hours straight... I've finally gotten around to uploading a bunch of the production stills from the Meta-Secret shoot. Directed by Karen Cai and Art Directed by myself... it was an exercise in shooting in Hong Kong and not having it look like it was shot in Asia. I'll have the shots up in their entirety in a day or two.
